Ari pangmalakasan nga SKL

I've just started my senior year in law school! Wala lang, happy lang ko. When I began this journey at 22, all I had was a bit of savings and a lot of faith in God. I couldn’t imagine the challenges I had and have yet to hurdle just to balance working and studying, scrape together money for tuition (nga pwerte kamahal) and books (nga utro man kamahal), keep up with household bills, and pay for a little comfort when everything else is so overwhelming.

I just realized that I’ve been doing all of this on my own without any support—not because I didn’t ask, but because nobody was apparently there. I don't mean that in a bad way because it's something I've come to terms with and accepted. But hey, this ain’t about that. Neither do I know what this is all about.

But on a serious note: maybe it’s just that, on this journey, there have been days when it felt easy to give up (I already got my Communication degree, I mean, what else could I ask for?).

Then there were days when it felt even easier (because I know I could make money in graphic designing, writing, and video editing and probably get rich right away, just kidding).

And then, there are days when it felt easiest of all (because honestly, law school is just… hard, demanding, and so intense, and I feel like I’m wasting my time and missed the opportunities that have gone my way).

But on all those days, I didn’t give up.

You know they say that despite the grueling and exhausting days, there’s a bit of magic in pursuing something you truly want. Maybe this is it.

I just pray I won't give up.

Hay, dapat ma-lawyer gid ko! Hehe
